Personal reflections Dorin Chira 297125 During the semester I worked on four projects. I enjoyed working on all four projects. On the first project I liked how easy it was to set up the project, though we did not use GitHub, that's why we had confused and could not combine the project correctly. Hadi made some awesome turrets, that could rotate and shoot and I could not integrate them into my part of the project so I used only a part of his logic, and then we had to move on to the next project. I did not like that we had no knowledge of Unity and were frustrated when we could not do simple things. The second project I liked doing not because of what it ended with, but what I discovered about AR in general. I learned how easy it is to set up. How I can easily connect to Firebase and fetch data and models to show in AR, and not oversize the app memory. EXPO Here we presented all our projects. We had the missfortune to not be able to install and test the projects but on the day of the expo the teacher helped us overcome this problem, though the bowling game had an anoying graphical glitch pixelating everithing. Development We decided again to use VRTK as we were a bit accustomed to it. And we found a grea tutorial for point defence game . We downloaded a lot of assets from the Unity store, like: - Skeleton as enemy, it also had animations - Low Poly Guns - Traffic props , city props for enviroment - Low Poly Village We managed to make the animation working, base logic for enemy movement. Shooting and enemy death mechanics are basic. When player presses the button to shoot the trigger also animates. Game - Player spawns in the middle of the map - Player has 2 guns, a pistol and a rifle - Player can shoot from both guns at the same time - Enemies continously spawn - Enemies die from one shot Features not implemented These are features that we wanted but did not manage to finish: - Player health - Enemy damage to player - End screen with score and a restart button - Gun sounds - Muzzle flashes - Change rifle fire rate - Bullets and a timer for reloading
